What is the Wall Post?
🔹🔸 Wall post is a coil that is used in specific lengths to make the wall work seamlessly. These wall posts will cause the wall to clash with the skeleton and, as a result, the strength of the wall. According to the sixth appendix of the 2800 regulation, this element is required in various types, such as radical, flat fastening, interrupted gutter, etc. in order to increase the resistance of the wall against earthquakes. Wind and earthquake force it from the wall and finally to the beams and columns, which causes the wall to not be destroyed.
What is the Wallmesh Wall?
🔹🔸Wall mesh is a new solution for seismic containment of non-structural walls in buildings. In this solution, fiberglass mesh strips are placed on the wall and a mineral plaster is applied on it. The resulting combination creates a powerful cement composite that strengthens the wall against the anchor resulting from the out-of-plane force of the earthquake.
🔹Wall mesh is in the category of Fabric Reinforced Cement Composites (FRCM) technology and Its theoretical and computational foundations are presented in ACI549. The wall mesh solution is an alternative to the traditional wall post method in seismic restraint of walls.

steps to perform:
🔻 Chinese wall
🔻 Implementation of lower plaster
🔻 Implementation of wall mesh strip with fiberglass mesh (wall sides)
🔻 Implementation of top plaster (cement base or plaster depending on the location of the wall) by spraying
🔻 execution of corners in an interrupted manner on top of the walls (sides of the wall)
🔻 wall joinery
